Taxi industry mogul Andrew Murstein hailed a ride to Leonard Stern’s 667 Madison Ave., joining an array of elite tenants at the boutique office tower.

Murstein, whose family was a prime mover behind the city’s yellow cab industry, signed an 11-year lease to move his Medallion Financial Corp. from 437 Madison. The new space at 667 Madison has about 9,000 square feet. Asking rents in the 267,000 square-foot property owned by Stern’s Hartz Group run from $120-$190 per square foot.

Tenants include RedBird Capital Partners, the Tisch family office, Sciens Capital Management, Corvex Management, and Crestview Partners. Retail tenants include luxury brands Michael Kors, Smythson and Paul & Shark.

Murstein recently launched “Project Boomerang,” a multi-pronged campaign to bring businesses and high earners back to New York from Florida and Texas, using tactics ranging from TV ads to shipments of Katz’s pastrami.
