Fox News political analyst Guy Benson is a dad again — and the conservative commentator’s growing family is drawing congratulations from some of the biggest names in Republican media circles.
Benson, 39, announced on Instagram Monday that he and his husband, Adam Wise, welcomed daughter Madison Halsey into the world on July 15.
“She’s here, and she’s perfect,” Benson wrote in a post that quickly racked up more than 10,000 likes.
“We are blessed and overjoyed to welcome Madison Halsey into the world and into our family. Our hearts are filled to the brim. A baby girl. We are just so thankful.”
The arrival marks the second child for Benson and Wise, who welcomed son Conrad James via surrogate in November 2023.
Photos shared by Benson show him cradling the newborn in a hospital room, with the infant swaddled in a patterned blanket and wearing a pink-and-white striped cap.
Another image captures the family’s living room, where Madison rests in a stroller near a window overlooking a leafy backyard.
The announcement drew an outpouring of well-wishes from prominent conservatives, including former UN Ambassador Nikki Haley, Fox News host Dana Perino and political commentator SE Cupp.
“Congratulations,” Haley and Perino wrote on their respective Instagram accounts.
Benson, host of the nationally syndicated “The Guy Benson Show” on Fox News Radio, has been open about his family life on air.
In 2015, he authored a book, “End of Discussion: How the Left’s Outrage Industry Shut Down Debate, Manipulates Voters, and Makes America Less Free (and Fun),” which he co-wrote with Mary Katharine Ham.
He and Wise, a talent agent, married in 2019.
Benson has described himself as a “free-market, shrink-the-government conservative” who happens to be gay — a profile that has occasionally complicated conventional partisan branding in conservative media.
The couple has not publicly commented beyond Benson’s social media post.
