Each and every week, when Billboard publishes its charts again, Blackpink singer Jennie makes history in one form or another. The superstar has enjoyed great success as one quarter of the biggest girl group in the world, but currently, she’s rising on the rankings under her own name.
Earlier in 2026, Jennie joined Tame Impala on a remix of the alternative act’s single “Dracula.” The song was already popular when it came to rock audiences, but Jennie’s inclusion helped it become a cross-genre smash. “Dracula” first stormed to No. 1 on various rock, alternative and dance tallies in America, and more recently, it has been gaining ground when it comes to airplay lists.
As the collaboration continues to establish new peak positions on some of Billboard‘s most competitive radio rosters, it debuts on one additional rundown, making Jennie one of the only K-pop solo stars to score a hit.
Jennie Debuts “Dracula” on the Adult Contemporary List
Jennie and Tame Impala launch on Billboard‘s Adult Contemporary chart this week, where “Dracula” arrives at No. 26. The song marks the first visit for Jennie – including as a member of Blackpink, which has yet to reach the list – and the second for Tame Impala, the one-man group which now is centered around lead vocalist, producer and songwriter Kevin Parker. Tame Impala first appeared on the Adult Contemporary roster in 2022, when “Turn Up the Sunshine,” a collaboration with the legendary Diana Ross, worked its way to No. 19.
Jennie Joins Her Blackpink Friends on the Chart
Jennie is now only the fifth K-pop solo musician – any artist credited on their own that is typically associated with the genre – to score a hit on the Adult Contemporary chart. Four of the five acts are women, and three of them are members of Blackpink. Both Rosé and Lisa have earned two smashes apiece, while fellow singer Jisoo has yet to place on the rundown.
Rosé reached the Adult Contemporary chart alongside Bruno Mars with “Apt.,” and then later as a featured artist on Alex Warren’s “On My Mind.” Lisa, meanwhile, earned a solo win with “Moonlit Floor (Kiss Me).” A short time later, she joined Maroon 5 on the track “Priceless,” which also impacted the tally.
Ejae, one of the three women that make up Huntr/x from the movie KPop Demon Hunters, currently appears at No. 2 on the Adult Contemporary chart. “Golden,” the Grammy- and Oscar-winning worldwide phenomenon, is stuck in second place – its all-time high – as Warren’s “Ordinary” has yet to relent at No. 1.
Only one solo male K-pop star, Jung Kook – one of the seven members of BTS – has also appeared on the Adult Contemporary chart. He joined pop singer Charlie Puth on the single “Left and Right,” and the two pushed the track to No. 24 back in 2022.
Jennie and Tame Impala Trail Ariana Grande
Jennie and Tame Impala claim one of only two debuts on this week’s Adult Contemporary chart, and “Dracula” is the less impactful of the pair. All the way up at No. 14 – a truly impressive starting point for any composition – comes Ariana Grande’s “Hate That I Made You Love Me.”
“Dracula” Rises to New Highs on Several Charts
Now that “Dracula” has made it to the Adult Contemporary chart, the song has appeared on all three of Billboard‘s pop radio rosters. This week, the single climbs to new highs on both the Pop Airplay and Adult Pop Airplay lists, ascending to Nos. 7 and 9 on those tallies, respectively. Jennie scores her first top 10 win on the Adult Pop Airplay rundown as “Dracula” improves its standing once more.
