PXG has expanded its zero-torque putter lineup with the introduction of the One & Done ZT, a highly stable mallet designed to help golfers of every skill level improve face control and produce a more consistent start line on the greens.

At the heart of the One & Done ZT is PXG’s patented onset hosel configuration, which aligns the shaft axis closer to the putter’s center of gravity to create a toe-up balance point. By minimizing rotational forces throughout the stroke, the design helps keep the putter face square from takeaway through impact, reducing unwanted twisting and promoting greater consistency.

The putter also incorporates an integrated forward-press design that naturally positions the hands ahead of the ball at address while maintaining the proper loft through impact. The result is a setup that encourages a repeatable stroke without requiring golfers to consciously manipulate the club.

To further enhance stability, PXG constructed the One & Done ZT with a hollow-body 303 stainless steel chassis filled with its proprietary S COR™ polymer. Because the lightweight material occupies more than half of the putter’s internal volume, engineers were able to remove weight from the center of the head and redistribute it to the perimeter, significantly increasing the club’s moment of inertia (MOI). The polymer also helps dampen vibration, delivering a softer, more responsive feel at impact.

Performance continues at the face, where PXG’s third-generation pyramid milling is engineered to promote more consistent roll while preserving the feedback preferred by accomplished players. The optimized milling pattern interacts more uniformly with the golf ball’s dimples, helping produce predictable launch characteristics, sound and feel across the hitting surface.

Engineers also pushed the design further with an ultra-thin face measuring just 0.055 inches. Supported internally by the S COR polymer, the thinner face frees additional discretionary weight that can be relocated to the perimeter, further enhancing forgiveness on off-center strikes.

By combining zero-torque technology, perimeter weighting and advanced face engineering, the One & Done ZT is designed to help golfers start more putts on line while delivering the stability, feel and forgiveness expected from a modern premium mallet putter.

“This putter is designed to work with the golfer, not against them,” said PXG Design Engineer Matt Andrews. “By positioning the shaft axis just above the center of gravity, we significantly reduce the torque forces that cause the face to rotate during the stroke. The result is a putter that stays remarkably square to path and helps golfers produce a more repeatable roll.”

Getting Fitted

PXG understands that finding the right putter is about more than simply choosing a model that looks good at address. It starts with finding a putter that complements your natural stroke. While golfers often invest time getting fit for drivers and irons, the club used on nearly every hole is frequently the one that gets overlooked.

A typical PXG putter fitting lasts between 30 and 60 minutes and begins with establishing a baseline. Working with a Master Fitter, golfers hit a series of putts using a variety of putter styles while a TrackMan launch monitor captures key performance data. The technology measures critical metrics such as face angle at impact, stroke path, launch, speed control and consistency, giving the fitter a detailed understanding of how the putter is performing through the stroke.

Using that information, the fitter identifies the head shape, hosel configuration and weighting that best complement the player’s natural tendencies. Fine adjustments are then made to help deliver the putter face more square at impact, promoting improved start lines and greater consistency on the greens.

The fitting extends beyond the head itself. Grip style, shaft length and overall setup are carefully dialed in to ensure the putter not only performs optimally but also inspires confidence at address. Once every specification has been finalized and the golfer is satisfied with the results, the custom build is ordered to those exact specifications.

For a club that can account for nearly half the strokes in a round, a professional putter fitting may be one of the most valuable, and often most overlooked investments a golfer can make.

The PXG One & Done ZT Putter is available in both right- and left-handed models for $449.99 at PXG Retail Stores, online at PXG.com, and through select fitting and retail partners worldwide. For more information or to schedule a fitting, visit www.PXG.com.
