Schmigadoon! and The Lost Boys led the nominations going into the ceremony with 12 nods each, while the revival of the musical Ragtime had 11 nominations.

An adaptation of the Apple TV musical series, Schmigadoon! won four Tonys, including Best Musical, Best Book of a Musical, Best Original Score and Best Orchestrations. Liberation won the Tony Award for Best Play.

Terrence McNally, Stephen Flaherty and Lynn Ahrens’ Ragtime won four Tonys, including Best Revival of a Musical, Best Performance for a Leading Actress and Actor in a Musical for Caissie Levy and Joshua Henry, as well as Best Sound Design of a Musical.

The Lost Boys also took home four Tonys, including Best Performance by a Featured Actress and Actor in a Musical for Shoshana Bean and Ali Louis Bourzgui.

The legendary Arthur Miller play Death of a Salesman, meanwhile, was the night’s biggest winner with five Tonys, including Best Revival of a Play, Best Direction of a Play for Joe Mantello and Best Actress in a Featured Role in a Play for Laurie Metcalf. P!NK hosted the ceremony, and the Grammy Award-winning singer kicked off the show in grand style with a “Lady Marmalade”-style performance that featured more than 170 Broadway performers, as well as Neil Patrick Harris, Lea Michele and Megan Thee Stallion. Later on, P!NK performed “All That Jazz” in a Queen Latifah-led tribute to the 30th anniversary of the Broadway revival of the John Kander, Fred Ebb and Bob Fosse musical Chicago.

Veteran performer John Lithgow won the Tony for Best Performance by an Actor in a Leading Role in a Play for Giant, while Lesley Manville won the Tony for Best Performance by an Actress in a Leading Role in a Play for Oedipus.
