After Season 3 of Perfect Match brought together fan-favorite reality stars AD Smith and Ollie Sutherland, who appear to be one of the franchise’s only couples still together, a new season of the hit series has arrived on Netflix. Will Season 4 spark another successful romance?
Hosted by Nick Lachey, the series follows 20 singles who previously appeared on dating reality shows but didn’t find lasting relationships. While the first two seasons featured contestants exclusively from Netflix reality programs, Season 3 expanded the cast to include personalities from franchises such as Love Island, Siesta Key, The Bachelor and more.
As the singles get to know one another, the most compatible couples gain the power to play matchmaker, allowing them to break up other pairs and send them on dates with new singles invited into the house. In the end, one couple will be crowned the winner and receive an all-expenses-paid vacation to the destination of their choice.
This season kicks off with 20 contestants, slightly fewer than previous seasons, which typically introduced 22 to 23 contestants. According to Netflix’s Tudum, the change was made to allow “singles to enter and remain in the house longer, giving late arrivals a genuine chance to stay and find a connection.”
