All four women that are members of the girl group Blackpink have enjoyed commercial success, not only as one piece of that quartet, but also as soloists. Before reuniting and releasing the highly anticipated Deadline EP earlier this year, the K-pop superstars all focused on promoting themselves with solo projects, and all of them contained multiple singles.

Lisa proved herself to be one of the most successful of the bunch, and even as the powerhouse pop musicians continue to focus on the unit, the Thai singer and rapper – who is closely associated with K-pop, though she doesn’t focus entirely on that one style – manages to score a new top 10 hit on a pair of Billboard charts in America.

Lisa’s “Bad Angel” Debuts on Two of Billboard’s Dance Lists

Lisa’s recently-shared collaboration with electronic dance producer Anyma, a track titled “Bad Angel,” debuts on a pair of rankings in the U.S. this week. “Bad Angel” launches at No. 7 on the Dance Digital Song Sales tally, standing out as one of the bestselling tracks in that style throughout the nation.

“Bad Angel” comes in one space lower, at No. 8, on the Hot Dance/Electronic Songs chart. Like all rundowns published by Billboard that begin with the word “Hot,” that register is compiled using sales, streaming, and airplay data, and it details the most popular dance and electronic cuts throughout the largest music market in the world.

Lisa Doubles Her Hot Dance/Electronic Songs Hits

Lisa doubles her total number of appearances on the Hot Dance/Electronic Songs chart as “Bad Angel” arrives. The cut fails to match her No. 4 career peak, which she reached nearly half a decade ago on the track “SG.” That cut also credits DJ Snake, Ozuna, and Megan Thee Stallion.

“Bad Angel” Matches Lisa’s Lowest Dance Sales Chart Peak

Lisa has proved far more successful on the Dance Digital Song Sales chart, where she claims twice as many hits when compared to the Hot Dance/Electronic Songs roster. “Bad Angel” ties her own “Chill” as her lowest-peaking tracks, as both of those songs only managed one stay on the list and peaked at No. 7. The aforementioned “SG,” as well as “Born Again,” which also features both Doja Cat and Raye, topped out at No. 3 several years apart from one another.

Lisa Joins Marshmello and Thomas Rhett

On the Hot Dance/Electronic Songs chart, Lisa and Anyma are responsible for one of four debuts, and theirs is the second-highest peaking. The pair come in behind only Marshmello and Thomas Rhett – an unlikely winner on the dance tally. Their cross-genre collaboration “Where We Go” arrives at No. 7.

Katseye and Lisa Debut Together

Half a dozen tracks launch on the Dance Digital Song Sales chart this week, and though “Bad Angel” debuts in a loftier position on that purchase-only list than on the Hot Dance/Electronic Songs list, several other new arrivals beat Anyma and Lisa. Katseye “Pinky Up” is the loftiest new entry, as it starts at No. 3. Josh Fawaz sees his single “Like a Prayer” enter at No. 5, while “Where We Go” begins its time on the tally in sixth place.

Lisa Joins Jennie on the Dance Charts

In a bit of coincidence – one that shows just how beloved and popular the singers of Blackpink are as soloists – Lisa joins her bandmate Jennie on both dance charts. Alongside Tame Impala, Jennie’s “Dracula” holds at No. 1 on the Hot Dance/Electronic Songs list. The collaboration falls from the summit to the runner-up spot on the Dance Digital Song Sales ranking, as “Runway” by Lady Gaga and Doechii sashays all the way to No. 1.
